Loans


  • Loans granted by CEB take one of the following forms:
    - Loans to members of CEB
    - Loans guaranteed by a member of CEB, granted to any legal person, and approved by that member
    - Loans granted to any legal person approved by a member of CEB, when the CEB’s administrative council is satisfied that the loan requested is covered by adequate guarantees
  • CEB’s share of financing typically may not exceed 50% of the project cost, but may go up to 90% in exceptional cases (such as projects in target countries)
